Caroline Baxter, MD
Dr Caroline Baxter is a Consultant Respiratory Physician at Manchester NHS Foundation Trust in the United Kingdom. She has a specialist interest in complex lung infection and is the clinical lead for the South Manchester Bronchiectasis Service and is the Clinical Director of the UK National Aspergillosis Centre. Dr Baxter started her research in fungal lung disease in 2008, completing her PhD in 2013, which focused on sputum molecular and serological diagnostics to aid the diagnosis of Aspergillosis in cystic fibrosis. Since this time Dr Baxter has continued to focus her research and clinical practice on the diagnosis and treatment of fungal lung disease.
